Description

The MEE-QFG is a bare water tube, forced circulation exhaust gas economizer for heat recoveryfrom diesel engine exhaust gas. The heat transfer surface consists of vertical concentric parallelsteel tube coils connected to inlet and outlet manifold pipes.
The round shape of the gas tight steel shell surrounding the tube coils is ideal to withstand exhaust gas pulsations from the engine. Sound absorber and by-pass duct are located inside the tube coils.
The sizes depend on the required steam capacity, amount of exhaust gas, temperature and working pressure. Steam capacity is up to 5T/h.
