Main design basis
1.IEC62616:Marine navigation and radio communications equipment and systems-bridge navigational watch alarm system; 2. MSC.128 (75):bridge navigational watch alarm system (BNWAS) performance standard.
system function
1.Operating modes AUTO (automatic mode):the unit by pressing the reset button reset or motion sensor output signal, or an external reset signal, including external devices from the dry contact operation signal and NMEA serial statements, cancel all the alarm, start a new period;
2. MANUAL ON MANUAL mode (open):when the steering system switch to automatic mode,the BNWAS alarm program start; Switch to manual mode,the BNWAS alarm procedures to stop; MANUAL mode
3.MANUAL OFF(closed):the BNWAS alarm program start, and is not affected by the steering system.
Alarm
1.Visual alarm: the BNWAS alarm procedures to stop;
2.The first level auditory alarm: when the end of the period, BNWAS start visual alarm unit provides visual alarm, at the same time on the operating unit and reset the unit to visual cues, reminded the OOW to reset operation;
3.Secondary auditory alarm at a distance: if not, start the vision after 15 seconds, the hearing is the first step on the bridge and send alarm (alarm unit installed in the bridge), provides the OOW to reset operation;
4.Third pole distance auditory alarm: when the BNWAS to receive other devices from the standby navigation alarm signal, will immediately activate the secondary alarm and the subsequent level alarm and call for public areas of the booth and the ship's crew, let its cockpit view on the situation;
5.Emergency call: if you no longer, in the first secondary auditory alarm at a distance of 90 seconds (90-180 seconds can be set),the public area on the ship and send the third level of auditory alarm (installed in the public areas of the ship's alarm units),remind any hear alarm the crew to check the bridge;
6. Standby navigation alarm: when the OOW or other need help there is an emergency situation, can be operated by pressing the emergency call button on the unit, or hold down the reset unit button for more than 5 seconds, the BNWAS to activate the secondary alarm and the subsequent level alarm, call specify the public areas of the booth and the ship's crew, in order to get help.

When standby navigation from the BNWAS to receive other equipment alarm, secondary alarm will activate immediately,and then the level alarm, calling for driving indoor and public areas of the ship's crew,let the bridge view the situation.
